It was about a year ago that we applied for Peace Corps and now we're less than two weeks from our departure. There has been so much moving and preparing for this life changing event that there has been little time to be excited or afraid of what the next 27 months will bring. We've read books and watched TV programs on the Philippines but soon we are going to experience the Philippines. This is an incredibly unique opportunity and we look forward to the challenges and rewards that it will bring. We want to thank all of our friends and family members for the support and encouragement that they have given us.
